This book was created because my children didn’t want to learn the multiplication tables at all. That’s why I wrote little rhyming stories for them. They can be read, repeated and memorized – all in an idle few minutes. Since we published these poems in a book, many more children have enjoyed them. I believe they will be useful for your children too.
I was invited to contribute the English version of Rhymes to Remember Times Tables – what an excellent idea I thought!
From the dawn of civilisation man has used rhyme to aid memory. I am sure that this booklet will be of great educational value for children today.
Mathematics becomes easier when we count specific things, people or animals. It is animals that I like to paint the most. I hope these simple illustrations will help children to learn their times tables.
